Robert McAuley, MD, FACS
For more than 20 years, Dr. McAuley has dedicated his career to providing exceptional surgical care rooted in compassion, skill, and genuine human connection. A native of Tupelo, Mississippi, grew up with strong family values, a love for the outdoors, and a deep desire to serve those around him with qualities that continue to shape his approach to medicine today.

Education & Professional Background
Dr. McAuley is a proud graduate of the University of Mississippi and earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed both his general surgery internship and residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS, where he went on to serve as a clinical instructor. His commitment to excellence in surgical care is further reflected in his certification by the American Board of Surgery.

In 2020, he joined OSBC, bringing with him decades of experience, a passion for patient-centered care, and a steadfast commitment to always going above and beyond for those he serves.

Life Beyond the Operating Room
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. McAuley enjoys an adventure-filled life in Oxford, Mississippi with his lovely wife. Together, they have three adult children of which they are incredibly proud of. Dr. McAuley considers his family as his greatest pride and joy.

He enjoys traveling, hunting, and spending peaceful time on his family farm. He loves sharing stories from his life experiences and is happiest when surrounded by family, friends, and his beloved dog, Mr. Banks.
